in Basic English Conversation

My ESL English students need to prepare for their final exam by learning and reviewing vocabulary,  grammar rules, exercises, worksheets and speaking topics.

ESL English Exam Questions

The final exam for the conversation class is a speaking test.

Part one of the exam be found here: esl-conversation-questions.

Part 2 of the study questions is below.

60 second speaking

You will have one random topic. You must speak for 60 seconds. Tell a story. Make it interesting. Grammatically correct. Definitely not less than 60 seconds.

Here are the topics:

  1. Food
  2. Job
  3. A person
  4. A place
  5. Activities

Here is a tip: compare and contrast is an easy way to organize a presentation.

About the ESL Speaking Test

The test will be fast. This is a test of quick recall, fast correct answers. There is no time for you to sit and try and remember. Study well and you will do well.

Don’t study and you will hear my say, “next.”

In class, you will sign up for a test time. These times are approximate. Please show up to the test room early.

Good luck.
