Here is a quick speaking activity – drill – that helps ESL student learn how to speak with much and many as well as countable and non countable nouns.

Countable Nouns
- There a lot of cars.
- There aren’t many cars.
- There aren’t any cars.
Non-Countable Nouns
- There is a lot of water.
- There isn’t much water.
- There isn’t any water.
