For my ESL students, it’s week 7 of the semester. Next week is the mid-term English conversation exam. In today’s English class we will focus on a few ESL conversation activities to build and improve fluency.

Speed Talking

In this pair work exercise, the students choose a topic from the list below. Speak 20 seconds about the topics. The partner asks three questions. Change role. Repeat three times.
