This is week 9 of the semester. Last week the ESL students had a mid term exam so we could check their speaking skills and assess their ability to learn English.

  2. Introduce the Walk About Activity.

  6. Trivia game (pair work, fluency and listening)
  7. Brain puzzles – hard

WALK ABOUT ACTIVITY

The Walk About activity is a special kind of oral presentation. You wont be standing alone in front of the class. Instead, you will be making a short presentation in a one on one situation. Click for more details about the Walk About speaking exercise.

Important Facts

  • 10% of the final score
  • present Monday, May 12 (two-hour class)
  • do some research
  • write a speech 4-5 minutes
  • make a poster
