This week, the two sections of the intermediate English conversation class will have different lessons because of the recent holidays.

Wed-Fri Class

We have a one-hour class on Wednesday this week. You will have a quiz during this class.

Develop fluency skills with a trivia game that focuses on thinking, speaking and listening.
Improve listening skills with exercises from the textbook, units 8 c/d.
Another sound and sort exercise.
A vocabulary exercise with words that start with CON.
A pair work speaking exercise to practice accurate descriptions of plot, character, setting and message with a video.
Mr Go, a pair work exercise that requires students to listen well and asked focused questions.

This is partial week for my writing classes because of the holidays on Monday and Tuesday.

Complete the data analysis of Korean food facts – what’s the problem, what’s the question, find the evidence, create rules, make conclusions;
Complete the video summary Room 8 – character, plot, setting and message;
Complete the other writing assignments (if not finished yet): 1) murder mystery 1, 2) murder mystery 2, 3) a story of past events and 4) different times;
Complete worksheets: paraphrase with synonyms; proofreading 1, proofreading 2.

Intermediate English writing students can prepare for quiz 1 by reviewing and answering these questions.

The quiz will use some of the questions, not all of them. The questions on the quiz will be random so I suggest you study all of these questions.
