This week 5 of the semester for my ESL English students. They are making great progress. here is a list of a few of the things we will study this week.

Writing and Speaking Review

A short quiz and a long mid-term exam are coming soon. Now is a good time to review some of the material we have studied in class. It might be useful when my ESL students have an English test.

Here are a few questions.

Write 3 or 4 sentences to describe a difficult sport. Describe the rules, objectives of the activity, number of players, location of play and equipment.

This week we practiced describing things in detail.

Specifically, each student watched a video and then made a summary by talking about plot, characters, main events, the message and the story’s impact on the students.

This week, my English students will learn a new way to see the world. It’s called Six Thinking Hats. This exercise helps English students find new and interesting ways to talk about any conversation topic.
