This is the plan to help my ESL students learn and improve their English writing skills.

Start a new writing activity: Lost at Sea, a writing exercise that requires analysis, evaluation and critical thinking;
Rewrite compare and contrast story (coke video);
Rewrite short story that shows the inquiry approach based on the blind-folded people sitting around a table;
Complete and rewrite the email lesson with a message about Smartphones.

Write a business email.

Here is the plan this week to help my ESL students learn English writing skills.

Discuss midterm exam answers and scores.
Complete a compare and contrast analysis with abstract categories first and details second.
Learn how to write an email message.
Complete a data analysis writing exercise using the inquiry approach (i.e. question, evidence, rules, conclusion).
Combine 2 and 3 – real life business writing exercise.

You will rewrite one story that you wrote before. The story will be one of these:

Past actions – write a story with 2 or 3 actions that happened in different places at different times.
Write a summary of Room 8. Include a description of character, plot setting, and the message.
