It’s week 11 for the second year English conversation class. How many black dots are in the picture?

What did we do last week?

No classes because of the national holiday and school holiday

What did we do two weeks ago?

  • moral dilemma problems – three basic kinds of moral explanations (consequences, action and intent)
  • vocabulary and speaking activity – noun crossword puzzle (important for upcoming quiz)
  • homework from textbook over the short holiday (also part of quiz)

Hour 1

Attendance and review (5)

Poster presentation – due Thursday May 11 (60)

Students display posters and discuss their topics or issue. It’s a free flow of ideas that helps improve English listening and speaking fluency.

Hour 2

Review Schedule (10)

  • Week 12: May 18 and 19
  • Week 13: May 25 and 26 – quiz #2
  • Week 14: June 1 and June 2 – last week of classes, review week, practice answers to exam questions
  • Week 15: June 8 (yes make up class) and June 9 (no Friday class) – reading week

We will schedule final exams (speaking tests) on June 15 and 16.
