Understanding OECD Data, Part 2

This lesson for the advanced ESL class will take another look at OECD data.

The objectives of this ESL lesson are to understand the data and use your English speaking skills to interpret numbers.

As before, the lesson has two parts. First understand the numbers on the tables. What is the table about? What is being counted? What is the unit of measurement?

The second part of the lesson is to describe three kinds of actions.

  • Describe Korea in terms of change from past to present.
  • Compare Korea’s current numbers with other countrioes.
  • Compare Korea’s change with the change in other countries.
