It’s an important skill for student writers. Well, for everyone who writes, actually. Many students don’t like proofreading. They believe you write an essay or story once. And that’s it. No changes, edits, or proofreading. Maybe that idea is okay for a math test, but not for writing. So, I try to show my writing students why their thinking is wrong.

In this writing lesson, I want to show you the power of proofreading. The speaker is giving a presentation. He is speaking with an essay that has not been proofread. Quite funny with a little adult humor.
