The basic English students have to prepare for a quiz and final exam. So, to help the students learn English and prepare for these tests, here is a list of questions to study.
Basic ESL Conversation Study Questions
1. Words
Words and books (see worksheet)
Explain the meaning in a few words (page 1 of this worksheet)
Name the places where people watch, play or do these games and hobbies:
- Football, Tennis, Chess, Swimming
- Ping Pong, Horse Racing, Skating, Boxing
- Volleyball, Baseball, Golf, Weightlifting
Food, packages and counting food (countable and non-countable nouns, page 37, 38 and 39)
2. Sentences
If and Would sentences (see worksheet)
How much and how many questions and answers (see worksheet)
Indirect questions (Can you …, Could you …., Do you know ….; page 35 and 36 in book)
Comparatives (bigger, smaller, nicer, prettier, more expensive, better, worse; page 41 and 42 in book)
