Here’s the plan for this week.

1. Hand back quiz papers and discuss answers
2. Hand back 2/3 writing projects with comments (rafting/howl/dog and sausage)
3. Hand out mid term practice questions – discuss questions and students write answers.
4. Discuss mid term exam schedule (next week).

Writing Class Mid Term Exam Questions

Here are the mid-term exam questions. The practice exam questions have 8 parts:

1. paragraph editing
2. fix choppy
3. fix run-on sentences
4. write a paragraph with a topic sentences, reasons, examples, detail and a conclusion sentence
5. re-write an old story
6. re-write a new story with more information
7. show vocabulary meaning
8. definite and indefinite articles
