Some of my students make a lot mistakes when they write a paragraph. The mistakes are easy to correct, if you practice how to edit.
When you learn to edit mistakes, your writing will become better. And, the writing will become easier. But like all writing skills, you need to practice editing. You need to see what the mistakes look like. Without practice, editing can slow, difficult and painful.
Here is an editing exercise. In this paragraph there are 19 writing mistakes. Most of them are about basic writing skills, like:
- Punctuation
- Prepositions
- Spelling
- Verb agreement
- Verb tense

Last weekend, we are going camping in the mountains. At Saturday, I played hiking and my husband and two sons did fishing. They love to fishing at the lake. There is a small stake restaurant about one kilometer down the road. after that we will seeing a movie. Tomorrow, I will made a spaghetti dinner so today I will goes to the market and buy two kilogram of tomatoes, 500 gram of cheeses and one head of noodles. These days, my family are busy but everyone are happy and healthy.
