Part 1 Introduction (10)

Our focus for the next few weeks will be two-fold.

Develop your individual listening skills with intensive listening activities that combine two approaches:

  1. a modified version of the standard Comprehension Approach
  2. a sort new approach called the Skills Approach

 

Part 2 Get Started with Skills Teaching Activity

  • Sign up to Moodle Course
  • Complete Pre test
  • Complete 2 listening activities per week.

Pre Test (10)

  • quick instructions (10 questions, how to answer, time limit)

Two tests (15)

  • Introduce Activities 1 and 2
  • Complete tests

 

Part 3 Comprehension Activity

We will also complete a listening activity that will take a few weeks to finish. It is a modified version of the Comprehension approach.

The listening file is a podcast from a site called Lexicon valley. The episode is called, “How to Raise Verbal Children.” As educators, i think you will find the topic interesting.
