This is week 3 of the Teacher Training Program. The purpose of these lessons and activities is to provide teachers with a few activities that can help their students learn English. These ESL writing activities can also be used as conversation activities.

Advanced ESL Conversation: Week 3
This week we practiced describing things in detail.
Specifically, each student watched a video and then made a summary by talking about plot, characters, main events, the message and the story’s impact on the students.

This pair work activity works like this.
- Before break, half the students go out. Partners stay in class and watch the video.
- Half the class watches the video. Their job is understanding. They will have to answer questions and make a summary.
